چکیده

Parts with the complex curved surface are commonly used in high-end equipment. The machining quality of parts is important for property With position control main spindle, i.e., C axis, slow tool servo (STS) turning a very promising technique to effectively machine parts. However, restricted by cutting force fluctuation finishing turning. Hence, STS toolpath generation approach constraint proposed this study. As proportionate area, area surfaces analyzed and calculated. Then functional relation between feed rate derived. Based on geometrical characteristic first revolution toolpath, optimized small derive cutter contact points (CCPs) cylindrical coordinate system. From validation experiment results, it can be seen that fluctuation, profile tolerance, roughness reduced, part machined planning method 17.625 nm. Thus, study provides guidance surface.

Surface Roughness, Machining Force and FlankWear in Turning of Hardened AISI 4340 Steel with Coated Carbide Insert: Cutting Parameters Effects

The current experimental study is to investigate the effects of process parameters (cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut) on performance characteristics (surface roughness, machining force and flank wear) in hard turning of AISI 4340 steel with multilayer CVD (TiN/TiCN/Al2O3) coated carbide insert. Combined effects of cutting parameter (v, f, d) on performance outputs (Ra, Fm and VB) ar...

Cutting tool wear estimation for turning

The experimental investigation on cutting tool wear and a model for tool wear estimation is reported in this paper. The changes in the values of cutting forces, vibrations and acoustic emissions with cutting tool wear are recoded and analyzed. On the basis of experimental results a model is developed for tool wear estimation in turning operations using Adaptive Neuro fuzzy Inference system (ANF...

Fabrication of Micro-Optical Devices Using Slow Tool Servo Diamond Turning Process

Micro-optical devices, e.g., micro lenses, micro mirrors, play an important role in high speed data, voice and video signal transmissions. In this study, a new method of fabricating micro optical devices was investigated. The method is different from traditional fabrication processes in the sense that that the micro optical elements were simultaneously machined in a process known as slow tool s...

Fabrication of Micro and Diffractive Optical Devices by Use of Slow Tool Servo Diamond Turning Process

In recent years it has become possible to fabricate freeform optics using multi-axes ultraprecision machines. Unlike conventional process where a single diamond tool is used to machine each individual lens one at a time, this research demonstrates the development of an innovative diamond tool trajectory which allows the entire microlens array or diffractive lens to be machined in a single opera...
